I have things I don't give a chance anymore. Isekai is the main one. and you don't need a truck to be isekai, anything set in the high fantasy/sword & sorcery/Visual TTRPG stuff has no interest to me now. it's over saturated. I did like Frieren because it was more character drama than visual TTRPG

I began watching it last year and stopped, but only because I got busy. I really love that era of anime, the early computer coloring era is so nostalgic for me and it's really refreshing to look at anime that still looks close to being hand drawn. I just enjoyed looking at it! And the show was fun.

I never actually gave it a chance when it was on Toonami. I think character designs for other series is a neat gig for them though. Those really slender designs (particularly the guys) were I believe mostly Tsubaki Nekoi (XXXHolic), and they're a bit hit or miss for me.

I also want to see a Mega Starmie (which I think was leaked). So based on my own desires for a pokemon that I hope is in the game AND gets a Mega? it's time for the King to wear a crown.

I'm a life long Red-Eyes player in Yu-gi-oh, but my favorite dragon in all of gaming is this guy, the Covetous Dragon (Urza's Destiny). He is my spirit animal. We are kindred spirits: red, obsessed with things to the point we'd die without them, Dragons (1988 astrology).

my favorite anime hair to draw is definitely the Lucky Star hair styles. All bright colors, a bunch of them have that little front hooking ridge to anchor them, and they're basically all simple shapes and wavey lines. Overall a lot of combinations from simple features

It's scary but from what I understand, a really simple surgery to fix. You'll be down a gallbladder, and you'll need to be a bit more careful with your food choices, but in general "they tell me" all the chronic problems go away once it's out. Fingers crossed

As someone who's having theirs out in 2 weeks, my sympathies. It's been really rough but knowing explains so many things

I did a thing.

I re-edited parts 1-3 of Unfair. Commissioned some cover art and got permission to use illustrations of key scenes, and now have "Unfair: Volume 1".

The kindle part has been approved, and the paperback is currently being published but is not yet live.

It is not so bad compared to other people's experiences I have heard and read about. I feel like I have gotten lucky in catching it relatively early before it becomes an emergency room problem. I sweated out one incident I probably shouldn't have, and the diet kept me from getting worse at least.

I'm also prepping to go to surgery in August. Turns out the really awful "something" I had in February was a gallstone. So I'm getting surgery to remove the gallbladder, which I ruined with my poor dietary and life choices. Fortunately this is minor, and I get to be operate don by a robot! 2/2

Updates: It's the end of July already. This year has been a trip. Like it's been all over. The summer has been very busy and trying as I work on my weight loss, which I'm down to the last 30 or so pounds to go (yay). I'm on track to lose about 120 lbs by the end of summer. That's 54.5 Kilos

I'm going with Chikorita and I'm fully expecting Mega Meganium to do the Mega Venusaur thing, which is be fully overwhelmed by the flower neck, maybe get covered in more petals. Maybe just go full Black Rose Dragon kind of look.

Waited 10+ years for Mega Dragonite and all they had was take Dragonair's accessories (head wings and tail bead) and clumsily plop them on Dragonite? Glad I'm a Garchomp fan...oh, I was just reminded of the downgrade that is Mega Garchomp.

It's kind of basic but I love Mega Charizard Y. Sun Setter AND cool design? Great Pokemon. I usually comboed him with Venusaur for a solar beam dream team.
