I would also add Two moustache Branagh Poirot films.

This kid dressed as Spiderman is being called Webman, since I am sure they couldn’t afford to pay marvel money to use the name Spiderman?

Finishing Don’t Open Until Christmas. I don’t know if it’s the best Christmas horror, but it is an odd, one that’s for sure.

No need to be sorry. I just didn’t want you to think you had made a mistake. No wrong answers. Apologize if I hurt your feelings.

I really love that movie. Sorvino sets the screen on fire, and I love the way the murders are so secondary to the films narrative.

I did say according to you. I am honestly just trying to gather movies to watch, more than look for a critical consensus.

It’s not a perfect comparison cause they are not two like films, the killings in Zodiac are much more the focus of the narrative than Sam, but I do think they share some interesting parallels.

I call that The Mira Sorvino of it all. I agree with you, I think it and Zodiac would make an excellent spend a Saturday afternoon double dip.

I feel like even if it was his unobstructed vision of the movie I don’t think it necessarily would have translated well for American audiences.

I agree on that. While I think the Americanized version of Speak No Evil was well done if unnecessary cause it was never going to be the original. It was wise to change the third act, because American audiences wouldn’t show up on mass to a film, where the parents seem so throughly cowed and beaten.

I feel like that’s the rub with foreign movies, not that they have a ceiling in terms of mainstream appeal. I just think that America was always going to reject a movie where a character fucks his daughter, as a major plot point regardless of how unwittingly.

I say this as someone who loves The Departed and knows it is based on the Infernal Affairs films. Still it was a dumb fucking trend that I don’t think needed to happen, because American sensibilities are not always compatible with foreign ideas.

Like Johnson in year one seems the exception that proves the rule. Wish they would look for good coaches from elsewhere before guys like Matt Nagy, get another shot as a head coach.

I am sad it didn’t make him money, Oldboy I am referring to, but at the same time it killed Hollywoods needless pursuit of Americanizing Korean action revenge thrillers, so I am conflicted on it cause I don’t think it is a disaster.

I think what the NFL needs to realize is sometimes co-ordinators are just good co-ordinators?

Haha I remember that show but couldn’t recall watching it, I just remember the toys? But yeah seems an odd premise for a cartoon aimed at children.

I feel like for whatever dumb reason he wasn’t able to get stuff made with the ease he had been prior to Inside Man, and that being the film that seemed to cause the financing issue seems puzzling cause it was a hit.
