I need a little break from programming.. been very productive lately, and am very proud of how much better I've gotten, really feel more in control and that I sorta know what I'm doing!

But at the same time, it feels like stuff is moving too fast, so time to relax a bit and get back to drawing ^^

My graphics co-processor design from a few months ago is so bad.. I thought that would be an easy target for my first post on my website but now I'm gonna work on redoing the whole thing lmao what was I thinking 😭

Was starting to mess with this diagonal-esque tileset, was pretty happy with how it was shaping up! until I placed my sprite on it and yeah,, it's way too small x.x

Yo thank GOD the ai bubble is finally popping Jesus that took a long time, at least we did get a ton of research and some cool local tech from this mess.

Fucking hate silicon valley, couldn't care less for them, maybe in 10 years we can continue research on neural networks at a healthy pace

Honestly I've struggled with this for a while, nowadays I use mostly aseprite and blender because I can have more control over my hands ^^ my best advice I have is to draw on paper, even if just the sketch or doodle, after you have sketched a simple drawing it'll be easier to do it on digital

Quick update from the factory game project! Made a lot of progress, including a new terrain generation system, starting working on the ore system, instead of ores being defined as discrete ores, I'm starting to work on a "gradient-based" system that defines the properties of the soil.. pretty fun!

Dark purple is so absolutely goated, I honestly use it in almost every single palette to unify the reds and blues 😭

Haven't been very active.. buy still working on stuff! Making a little isometric factory game for fun rn, this is ~1 week of work, trying to learn as much as possible about good software design, struggling a bit x3

Considering working on a fur tuff generator for aseprite.. been toying around with the idea and bezier curves.. could be fun! :3 and speed things up a lot
