I've only been on Threads for a full year, so a lot of people here never heard of a feature that NASA did on me talking about my love of the Moon, how I grew up in poverty, then my homelessness in the US, and then me being at NASA itself. That's how easy it is to erase you as a person, and everything you've done. I'm not even sure how I feel right now. @rose_d_luna For folks telling me it's just a page or to share it in other social media, I appreciate the sentiment. The reason why this is painful has nothing to do with popularity, people know I don't care about that. There are *very few* people from my entire country who have done what I did, let alone women. Going from the streets to walking the halls at NASA, is no easy accomplishment. To be erased, it's not a good feeling. So let me feel the way I do, because this shouldn't happen at all.

I was one of the original dotcom founders with the very first online city guide ever, and pioneered and launched products people use today. The page had been made by someone else, up for 15 years and edited hundreds of times. Then when my book was published, some guys wanted me deleted. When they delete you from the internet, it deletes you from history, it is difficult to prove what you made. @rose_d_luna I'm just tired. Even with my book that happened, I was asked to write a kid's book about my life, and made me redo it a million times to it would appeal to white audiences, until it wasn't me anymore. I couldn't write it, and refused to write the memoir. To this day I'm still waiting to have a book publish that actually lets me write about my damn life like it actually was. These things are degrading, and I'm tired of people not getting that. It chips away at you.
