100% when I see someone “Explaining WCAG in simple language” I find inaccurate or contradicting information within the first 30 seconds of looking at the resource. And I think that’s harmful.

Also WCAG des nothing “to help” disabled people. These are requirements. They don’t “help”, they ensure that disabled people can use computers. (5/5)

@WiteWulf Yeah. I have no other ideas. I run my bulbs through Home Assistant and it has been rock solid (with a powerful Zigbee connector). The Hue hub I used before was spotty occasionally, but nothing regular like you describe.

@WiteWulf You can connect both, the Trådfri and Hue bulbs, to any Zigbee hub and they should work fine.

Would it be bonkers to deactivate my account in the largest accessibility community?

Participation feels like a toss-up between give and take on good days and a time sink on bad days.

Plus it is all in a US closed system, so unavailable for people who have no access to the walled garden.

As an immune compromised person and an LC sufferer this is how I feel about people dismissing the whole thing.
