On Aug. 18, 1964, The Beatles landed on Canadian soil for the first time.
They didn't land in Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver.
It was Winnipeg.
And their visit there was a massive event for locals.

In Saskatoon for a couple days, so decided to check out the Henry Woolf Theatre at the University of Saskatchewan. Henry Woolf memorably played The Collector in the 1977 Doctor Who story “The Sun Makers”, then later moved to Saskatoon and became a theatre legend in the city.
