It’s not a plot hole that Elmo has been 3 years old for 50 years. He was bitten by The Count, willingly. Elmo asked for the Dark Gift
Happy March 15. Here is my favorite Ides of March meme:
In 44BC it took 60 senators to stab Julius Caesar to death. Crazy to think that nowadays, thanks to modern technology, he could be killed by one senator running him over with a snowplow
My Ides of March fun fact is that the place where Caesar was stabbed is now a cat sanctuary, and I think it’s beautiful that creatures with tiny knives on their feet live there
I'm not celebrating the Ides of March, I'm keeping the Stabbath
Sad to see the Ides of March becoming commercialised like this. I really feel like we're losing track of the true spirit of the holiday. It's not about how many knives you can stick in a tyrant all at once, it's about the whole community coming together to stab the tyrant as many times as possible.
I'll take any bit of good news. It's good to see.

6/ If Trump paid any attention to the Ukraine War he would have noticed how warfare has changed. But he didn’t. And he blundered.
Worse, the Gulf states are running out of interceptors to stop Iranian missiles and drones - meaning that soon more oil sites will be vulnerable.
It’s crystal clear now that Trump has lost control of this war. He badly misjudged Iran’s ability to retaliate. The region is on fire.
1/ I’m going to explain to you in this🧵what I’ve learned - in part from closed door briefings - about the four biggest current crises.
Morrissey is such a mad old ham. I love it. He’s like a Victorian- on those posts he does he always sounds like a consumptive aunt in 1896 writing back from travels ‘they presented me with an entirely indigestible mess of stewed aubergine and a wine so rough as to be vinegar….the train was vile’ etc
was in a silly mood last night, so, I drew this meme. ... weed was a factor. 😄🖖🏻
I only saw the director's cut with the Somewhere That's Green reprise fairly recently -- my mind was blown. The reprise takes it to a whole new level.

Cyberpunk authors failed to consider that the people running the megacorporations would all be in pedophile sex cults together.
It blows my mind that nobody has yet made a version of "Shoes" by Kelly (the viral drag queen song from like 20 years ago) except that it's Jon Pertwee saying "shoes" in "Spearhead from Space."
Why does this not exist? Clearly the internet has failed.

The full recreation of "Mission to the Unknown" is up on YouTube, and I'm going to be watching it a couple of days before the rediscovered episodes of "Masterplan" hit iPlayer. It's quite brilliant. Edward De Souza introduces it as well, which is a lovely bonus. www.youtube.com/watch?v=NW8y...
a lot has already been written about the heat wave next week, including @weatherwest.bsky.social’s posts here. But it is hard to describe how truly outlandish the forecast is for next week. This is looking to be so far outside of anything that’s been observed before in March in the western US.
by the way, when I say Elon's mom was raised by Nazis I don't mean that as some throwaway generic insult... I mean her father was literally a Hitler supporter who moved to South Africa in 1948 specifically for Apartheid
she coincidentally left just as Apartheid was falling
