Final resting place of Sgt Lewis Leffman (1798-1885) Youngstown NY. Born in Hanover Germany, Leffman fought at Waterloo in 1815, moved to USA & served in the US Army for 55 years. An ordnance officer in the Civil War, he directed artillery fire at Confederate troops assaulting Fort Niagara by boat.
