There is a reason Black, brown, and queer people have always shit on rainbow capitalism. It's because they all knew that these corporations touting equality and diversity would change their tune the minute the political winds started shifting the other way, and that is exactly what has happened.

Believing America was great means accepting the exploitation and violence against Black, brown, queer, and feminine bodies. True greatness lies in building a system that rejects inequality and suffering.

Long is the road, but we must live in hope that we can emerge into the light.
