A reminder: in 2019 Trump tried to buy Zelensky with aid in exchange for damaging information about Biden's family. Trump assumed Zelensky could be bought. Their phone conversation was “perfect," Trump said. And why would it not be, if all relationships are understood to be a priori transactional?
