Sudan Solidarity Draw. What does that mean? Sudan means that it is essential to educate ourselves about Sudanese culture. Our Sudanese host will tell us about Sudan; a Sudanese poet will read her poetry; we will be immersed in Sudanese culture. Solidarity means that all the funds we will raise will go to Sudanese families, mutual aid campaigns ans community led initiatives in Sudan. Draw means that those who want will draw from Sudanese pictures, and we will post their art on our account to raise awareness about Sudan.

You can come to draw, donate, educated yourself about Sudan, show solidarity and post your art afterwards. You can come to draw and donate only. You can come just to draw. You can just donate. You can come just to be immersed in Sudanese culture. You can come only out of solidarity.

The only thing you CAN’T DO is to look away from a Sudan. Sudan needs each and every one of us, artists or not. Thank you for being here, your support means the world. See you on the 18th!
