First one sounds like it may be on my tbr the second no, never heard of, but I’ll give them a look thanks

I can see where this last one can make me seem like a hypocrite ie my Gatsby and Jordan but they weren’t exclusively said to be any race
Also franchises like capes are a bit more aggressive in that arena

Particularly when a POC or black person is taking on the mantle….certain fans start acting obscene and it just gets frustrating. I’m often thinking about Ironheart :/
Like I get it’s a risk to make a new supe but if you’re already doing this just give us our own person free of the mantle thing(2)

More capecomic- and I get this is done to help readers transition into a new MC- but I really wish some characters could just end with their identity. Like I don’t care for the constant “someone new has to take on the mantle” thing. Just take a risk and make a new character. (1/2)

Additional: when someone says they don’t feel like they see enough comics doing “xyz” why don’t you suggest some rather than “YOU JUST ARENT LOOKING HARD ENOUGH” cause you really do sound like an ass just give ppl a recommendation cause sometimes ppl are looking but there are many books out there

Text clogging every page kinda bums me out. Some comics kinda overdo narration.

I do wanna look at the art and how you interpret character emotions. When they’re really stiff and pin up it feels flat..

Wish there were more historical FICTION comics- not just memoirs/non fic- across time periods
