Each nation developed their own doctrines for the use of Subheads during the war. The Alliance used them for covert ops raids on moored ships. The Dominion laid in ambush and struck at opportunity targets while the Empire’s subheads went out to sea to actively hunt their prey.
Underrated anime. It actually inspired me to create this series back in the day.
🫡someone's gotta do it!
thanks Zack! I really do dig that idea behind that design a lot.
Thank you! I wanted to evoke more of a space shuttle design vibe for Artemis' skirt.
one day.. one day....

Pieces from my dieselpunk mecha universe TANKHEAD, now available in narrative artbook form.
The Hen and Rooster tankheads were pinnacles of Neverwar era Alliance engineering. A battery’s worth of artillery and an infantry fighting vehicle capable of deploying four egg tankettes ideal for urban combat. Despite their size both maintained good mobility in the field.

Another piece from a personal project about giant robots fighting kaiju in space
In WC010 the Kaiser gifted three Stormwalkers to Yamaichi as part of a non-aggression pact. These were quickly reverse engineered allowing the Yamaichi to produce their first tankhead, the Type-S Kiyoyasu. While clearly based on the Stormwalkers, nearly all parts were redesigned.
Most shipheads stand upright in a human-like posture, but when designing an aircraft carrier shiphead this can be a challenge. The Graf Zeppelin used a stooped configuration first developed for the Panzerblitzechse II to increase its launch deck length.
In the year WC010, the A7V Stormwalker became the first tankhead to be deployed into combat. The armored giants striding onto the battlefield caused shock and awe on both sides as the Kyzerians managed to hide their prototypes and experiments from the Alliance up to that point.
Thank you so much for the support!!!
