After 4 years of growth and learning as an academic at DMU, I'm excited to share that I'll be starting as MPharm Director / Senior Lecturer at @unistrathclyde.bsky.social on 1st May. This will be a great new challenge and I'm thankful to everyone who helped me achieve this! 🧑🏻‍🔬👩🏻‍🎓

I'm really happy to be working with Henrique in this project and looking forward to sharing knowledge and best practices across the two countries.

This is an exciting new collaboration that emerged from our shared time at Maria José Alonso's lab at CIMUS-USC, and a proof that the people you meet along the way are the most important part of our research careers.

Part 2 of recent great news: excited to share that myself and Dr Henrique Marcelino (UFBA) have been awarded a @royalsociety.bsky.social International Science Partnerships Fund International Collaboration Award, to work on sustainable dressings for complex wounds over the next three years!
