- ran the channels, pressed, took players on, but in front of goal, went to pieces a bit.

It will come. A good night to follow up all the scores went for us last night.

If we can do the same to Wigan on Saturday we will really be in business.

10 games to go. Foot on the gas bantams! #bcafc

No matter, job done. Tyriek Wright is playing the best football of his career and looks like he can do damage every time he goes forward. That goal was a real thing of beauty. Pointon finally scoring away and Tilt never letting Gray out of his pocket.

Really feel for Wheatley. Played really well

Professional and competent. The little bit of play Port Vale had in the first 10 minutes was easily seen out and after that it was one way traffic. We just never let them off the hook, although (like Posh at home) it would have been great to really put them to the sword and score a boatload.

We just start everyone tonight, get the win and then think about Saturday and next Tuesday when they come?

I think there will be (other than Baldwin) at least one swap tonight, whether that is tactical, or protective I couldn't say.

Need a win - let's do it!

The pitch - reminiscent of VP a few years ago. Will be tough to play on - most L1 grounds are at this stage. Is there someone with a niggle you feel the need to protect?

Other results - they all went our way last night. A win here and we really are looking good to cement that play-off spot. Should

Do you need, therefore, to swap one or two tonight and then a different one or two on Saturday (we play Tuesday next week as well).
Vale's cup run. A confidence boost or a distraction? Could be either, could be both, could be neither. We've had a days extra rest and they had to put in a shift.

Another away game where we should be confident about going and getting all three points. And yet...

There are a few moving parts here - Wednesday instead of Tuesday. Does that mean that you are more likely to have your best players on full go because of the extra day? What does that do to Saturday?

I reckon GA really does want to go for it on Tuesday so that he can (try to) put the away day hoodoo to bed against the bottom club.

That might mean Saturday at Wigan might be a bit more tricky for us - one fewer day of rest and the "best" 11 having emptied the tank again.

The left. Play Wright in the middle. It's where he is best.

We'll miss some distribution but it's better than watching through your fingers as Tilt waits for the forward to be right on him before he looks comfortable - what is that about?! I've said it before, he's been great, but makes me nervous

Can put out our best team (minus Baldwin) on Wednesday, then I go with Mullin and bring Humphrys and Wheatley on later.

On Baldwin, can't see the red being overturned, even though I think it's a foul by the Orient player, not Baldwin, so I would hope we don't go to Tilt in the middle. Keep him on

or Tyriek do on the left. We'd lose something as a team with him out there all the time. Even though he lined up on the left when he came on, he was popping up on the right and down the middle. That makes the shape a bit less rigid. Like Wheatley, his best contributions have been as a sub. If we

A few observations from the comments.
Wheatley- looks a bit like a boy playing against men. When he gets the touch, he looks good, but struggles when the defender is physical (which was all the time yesterday - looking at you ref) Looks better off the bench.
Humphrys - can't do the work that Bobby

and made us step up further.

The ball from Humphrys, the run and finish from Sarce.

It was outstanding.

That kind of win means more than an easy 3-0. Where you have to come through something and still win. Feels like it is worth more.

An exhilarating finish to a frustrating afternoon

first half and we were way better than them. We came out in the second half firing too. They still couldn't get going and still we created opportunities.

The less said about the red card the better. Can't see anything but a foul by them

In a weird way, it was a good thing for us. Galvanized us

So the positives - thought we actually played pretty well. Created lots of good chances and prevented them from doing anything. Even their goal came from a poor bit of refereeing. Having said that we should do an awful lot better. Poor defending and not great keeping. Still, it was a decent

For time wasting was a correct decision, but not booking their players for standing in front of free kicks so we can't take them quickly was the infuriating thing.

As Mark Bower said after the game - everything he did wound players up which lead to the carnage in the last 5 minutes. That's done...

they want - ignoring pushing in the back anywhere around their box, but giving it everywhere else on the pitch. Letting them take as long as they want over throw ins/goal kicks and free kicks when the game was 0-0 or 1-1 but as soon as it was 2-1 and in the last 5 he's hurting us up. Booking Mullin

That was quite something. Get the bad out of the way early. That man should never be allowed to ref again. There are so many reasons for it - the sending off was just the tip of the iceberg. It was everything - making sure our throw ins were taken back but letting them run down the line as far as

Has GA made it through half-time without being sent off? #bcafc

imagine him not playing. So it's Tilt or Touray at LCB and I think I'm going Tilt, but it's a tough choice.

Either way, I think we have enough here to beat Orient. Would be nice to score a few, but not getting greedy - win first, sorry about how later!

do something at home to get him going.
The only other thing is, what do we do if Baldwin can't start? I'd have Wright in the middle. Tilt makes me nervous. I know he's been great, but he feels on the edge all the time to me. Then there's a decision about the LCB/LWB. Wright has been so good I can't

Here we go again, hoping a home game can erase a painful away day. The big question today is who starts in the #9 role. I can see value in both Mullin and Humphrys. Personally, I would bring Wheatley off the bench. I think Mullin might get the nod today. Don't know why - just feel he is itching to

Not sure you can say the substitution was unnecessary. Pointon was looking tired according to Jamie Raynor. What do you do? If you don't make a change and that happens then you get slated. I get it was the second change of a back three, but it's a change that near enough every manager makes.

Anything positive has started again. We would have taken 4th at this stage. In fact most would have said you were ridiculous for suggesting it.

If winning was as easy as some people make out, no-one would ever lose.

Change?

Is it defensive? Without checking, I'd be surprised if we haven't started with that as a line up this season and praised it for looking attacking.

That is not a contentious substitution, the players on the pitch should have seen it out.

And I see the name calling of anyone saying

In commentary, both @jamieraynor.bsky.social and Mark Bower said Pointon looked tired. Taking him off would seem a sensible choice. Tyriek Wright is the natural replacement. That means that Touray needs to go to LWB meaning we need a CB and Joe Wright is on the bench. Show me the problem with the

We are really lucky to have GA as our manager. Regularly gives over and above in interviews. Tells us more than most managers have. Speaks from the heart. That is inevitably going to mean some people disagree, but I'd prefer that to the sanitised interviews of the Premier league. #bcafc

Positions they have played loads of times. No formation change.

He's been let down by the players again there. Absolutely.

Makes me mad. There's criticism to be made, but it will go to the wrong place.

That's really annoying. Firstly because of the actual game and result and the second because GA is getting pelters again.

What's he supposed to do there? City fans can get fucked if they want to pin that on GA. It's not a defensive swap. It's taking a tiring player off and moving players into
