My time with GameMaker all started with me in high school who just learned how to code with Apple’s Swift back in 2016, starting with Studio 1.4.

Ten years later, it still remains as my go-to game engine. It truly is one of the most friendly engines out there.

Another update to my game!

Everything looks a bit different here because I wanted to redo everything from scratch again. BUT! I am really liking how this game is looking now.

So far I got all of the HUD and hit detection working perfectly as shown here! (Along with drops like money and EXP)

Yeeeah, I was aware of this for a while now, lol.

The idea of the name came from the game’s overall inspiration being Adventure on the Atari 2600. I might name it something more interesting once the game nears an actual playable state.
