I so understand when people aren't feeling one of their own specific pieces (we can't only make bangers) but it IS genuinely exhausting being around creatives who are always self-deprecating.

Okay the little local bookstore I decided to check out was teeny tiny, no space for my introverted ass to hide! Friendly people and atmosphere, but pretty disappointed to see those AI slop 3D printed dragons all over it.
I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.
Social anxiety is so funny. Why am I scared to go shopping in person and enter a store? It's literally what I'm supposed to do, they want me there, it's how they stay in business. My anxiety likes to tell me that I specifically am not allowed to enter for some reason. Like no that's stupid.
