After learning that, I now try to take that same attitude into the relationships that are more than FWB. I try to be my most genuine self, nothing-to-lose, this-is-just-for-fun.

A severely dysphoric day

You say there were no signs, but as a kid my favorite cartoon was Transformers.

When recipes call for setting the oven to 425F, I set it to 420. Because I am an absolute child.

Fellow musicians:
The biggest number of streams of all of my songs is now from China via Tencent. It looks like Tencent reports streams semi-annually on a 6-month delay (revenue from streams from the first half of 2024 was reported in January 2025).
Is there anything to learn from this?

It feels like a lot just to ask people who've known you for a long time to suddenly switch pronouns, and that's nothing. And that's assuming their thoughts, when the people that care just want you to be yourself, regardless of how long it takes or what path you take. 🫶

Yeah there's pros and cons all over the place. A giant pot of paint all mixed together to shades of grey and you're supposed to pull a rainbow out. Nobody else can truly know your story and whatever you're doing is exactly what you have to do.

Yeah, we kinda need all the experiences along the way, otherwise we wouldn't be where we are today.

I remind myself of that whenever I think about the past as lost time.
