Revisiting Sharon Olds's iconic poem "Satan Says" this week on the podcast, in a discussion that nerds out about metaphor, point of view, and casting off the hell that is shame.

Thinking about seminar on prayer as revision. How to charm a draft toward music and clarity. Incense or patchouli required.

This would be a small revision workshop for US-based and another for International writers.

I’m applying for an award given by the Modern Language Association for the publication of a literary workβ€”Latinx Poeticsβ€”by scholars with no tenure, or in a non-traditional role. Hmm, I think I was unemployed when the book was published. I hope that qualifies.🀞🏼
