We sincerely hope they can convince those who are sceptical. There’s a lot of misinformation that needs to be addressed but some brilliant work being done on understanding community concerns and sharing how successful reintroduction projects have worked in Europe.

We're less than 100 days away from elections in Scotland. But nature doesn't get a say.

Join the Hope for Nature hustings in Pitlochry on 20 March to help us put rewilding firmly on the national agenda👇

'Bid to buy Rothbury Estate as divisive as Brexit' Funds are being raised to buy the Northumberland estate - but the plans have split opinion.

Fixed that headline for you:

‘One (1) farmer who farms 1,000 acres doesn’t like rewilding, we’ve made that the basis of our headline in a classic example of false balance.

PS everyone else in the story loves the idea of the Wildlife Trusts buying the Rothbury Estate’

Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Minneapolis (Official Audio) YouTube video by Bruce Springsteen

I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

Last week’s debate on driven grouse shooting was frustrating for many of us that want to see positive, progressive change in England's uplands.

🐦We're delighted to launch Liberals and Democrats for Nature and Climate — a new group working to strengthen liberal action on nature & climate.

It was great to hear from @pippaheylings.bsky.social and @eddavey.libdems.org.uk last night on how the Lib Dems can champion environmental action!

Family in tears after Dartmoor fox hunt distress They say they will never visit again

Sadly this story is all too common, fox hunting still goes on here.

Important challenge in the article from @leagueacs.bsky.social for Dartmoor National Park Authority to step up and join other national parks and stop it happening. #Dartmoor #Foxhunting #DNPA www.devonlive.com/news/devon-n...

Just one in five of the rainforests surveyed in Wales in good condition, a wake up call for us all on the impact we're having on these precious habitats and the need to act to protect them. Great new report from AWR #woodland #rainforest www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2024...

This is not Valencia, this is the town Tenbury Wells UK. There are very real consequences for all of us of ignoring 40 years of warnings from NASA & the world’s leading scientists. Reminder: as the planet heats, the atmosphere holds more moisture meaning rainfall intensity increases. #climatechange

Totally agree! We have a new Wales Advocacy Lead, James Hitchcock, just started. You may already know him (from Radnorshire Wildlife Trust), I can do you an intro if not as SFS is a big focus for him, including NFM.
