A short comic with two human original characters (the human forms of Ambroys and Lou, who I draw more often as a unicorn and goat respectively). Ambroys is a preppy pretty-boy, Lou is a grouchy tomboy. The comic is in response to a tumblr ask, which is screenshotted at the top: "Ambroys, how good are you at tying your shoes?" In the first panel, Ambroys responds to the question, looking nervous. He holds a rose-gold, sparkly smart phone in his manicured hands. He says: "Why would I -- I haven't had trouble tying my shoes since I was like FIVE YEARS OLD?!" He pauses. "Hang on. I have to call somebody." The next panel shows Lou answering her phone. She's lounging on a couch. Through the phone, Ambroys shouts: "LOU!" She replies: "What do you want, dickbag?" He says: "I'm going to ask you something and you've gotta be honest, okay? Do I ever come off like I'm dumb?" She says, bluntly: "All the time." The next panel is mostly a giant speech bubble of Ambroys screaming "FUCK YOU!" over Lou's phone, then hanging up. After a brief pause, he starts calling her again. She looks begrudging about answering him, but does so. Instead of a proper greeting, he asks: "Dumb like a silly puppy? 🥺👉👈" She replies: "Dumb like a dumbass." Again, he screams "FUCK YOU!" and hangs up.

Ambroys aims for "adorably naive," not "can't tie my own shoes," but apparently he can sometimes play too dumb.
