Just finished reading Mike Shackle’s The Last War trilogy and John Gwynne’s Bloodsworn saga trilogy. Immensely epic and enjoyable.

😍 We had a GSP for 16 years! Beautiful dog. But was full of energy until about 14 yrs or so…only then did he start slowing down.

Like the look of the new site. Really like some of the Ghost templates…and yours is nice.

Been thinking about starting a blog (what’s old is new again 🙂) and been looking at Ghost. But I’d be on the cheapest plan…do I have a good choice of templates at that level?

I love my metropolitan. It was my first fountain pen. Fine nib too. I use it for journaling. I also have a LAMY Med nib that I use for work notes, which works great.
But I want to get my platinum 3776 dialled in with the right ink. I feel this can be a pleasant everyday pen if I get it sorted.

Also good choices.
The age of the pen matters, but shouldn’t override if a pen has immediate mass appeal and adoption.
I had considered the Souveran M1000 but you’re right, the M800 has more history.
