Just got an email from Bruce Harrell's campaign about the Mariners.
I know it's heresy to say right now, but imagine Seattle having a mayor that got fired up about the arts, or rallied to save longtime venues, or talked about a great show they saw at a club or theater, or celebrated a local author.

You guys may not be aware of it but there’s a silent struggle being fought between my competing desires to remain in bed, my need for coffee, and my urge to pee.

Like every mayor before him, Harrell wants arts and culture events downtown. The difference is that "you're going to see a lot of AI in it."

I used to get mad when people misused "decimated" to refer to things that weren't 1/10th destroyed, but I've given it some thought and now I've done a complete 360 on it

Watching Agatha with equally gay friends every week was genuinely a highlight of last year
