My favorite bit is when someone in favor of gun control calls the fatal weapon in a mass shooting a "machine gun" and someone against gun control laughs and explains that it wasn't a machine gun because those were banned decades ago and that's why now almost nobody has them.

The brutal and simple truth is that being able to live as a trans person, or more broadly as any person who wants their rights respected, means elected liberal, social democratic, democratic socialist (or sometimes) conservative governments, not extremist far-right ones.
