Oil painting, a voyager of an innerverse called the Willowverse, where the voyage is the journey within and the empowerment felt from digging deep, overcoming, standing with strength as well as humility, walking with wonder, facing all that’s there.

Well I am stunned and honored to share that my painting “Voyager Of The Willowverse” has been awarded the Grand Prize in Infected By Art vol. 13! Wow!.. Thank you to the judges for feeling this painting is deserved of such an award. It means so much to me. ❤️ Congrats to all the other artists too!

Sharing a detail WIP of my painting for the upcoming ‘Year of the Snake’ group exhibition at Modern Eden Gallery, SF, CA, opening Jan 18, 2025. I’ll share more in the new year! 🐍 (painting is oil on panel, 8x10”, some things are slightly different since I took this photo but essentially the same)

Oh yep 🙋🏼‍♀️ I do too. I’m not sure I always do but when I notice it I think well wtheck? Also clenching my jaw. I think overall I’ve noticed it depends on what I’m working on or if there’s some kind a time crunch/deadline (or expectation), or what else is going on in life and my surroundings etc.

So it begins…

Yet another attempt at trying to find refuge from the pitfalls of Instagram. Maybe one of these alternatives will actually work out.
Who knows…it could even be this one🤷‍♀️
Anyway…here’s a skull I painted a little while ago.
