Jonas Vingegaard has Paris-Nice sewn up, but in Italy the Tirenno Adriatico is still wide open.

Oh wow, brilliant I did not know this. Do you know anyone who is involved with it?
Thank you, it is pretty niche, but I'm enjoying doing it - I'm learning all sorts of interesting things!
You might be interested in #LaFlammeVerte highlighting things of environmental interest at every Men's UCI world tour level race.
Here's Stage 5 of Paris-Nice: morganhphillips.substack.com/p/la-flamme-...

Now that the cost of oil is filtering through to petrol station forecourts (diesel is 25p more expensive than it was 10 days ago here), the public backlash against Trump and his enablers is going to hit very very hard by the end of this week.
Double helpings of #LaFlammeVerte all this week. Here's LFV19, it's stage 2 of Paris-Nice and a brief look at Green politics in France: open.substack.com/pub/morganhp...
There are two UCI world tour races on at the moment, so double helpings of #LaFlammeVerte all week. Here's LFV18 from stage 1 of Tirreno Adriatico: open.substack.com/pub/morganhp...
Yesterday's prediction was almost spot on, not sure today's will be as accurate. Paris-Nice is go: open.substack.com/pub/morganhp... #LaFlammeVerte

The question of what *effective* climate change and sustainability education looks like has never been more important and there is still much to explore.
This report delves into that question. It is one the mainstream education debate is now coming to:

The UCI men's world tour 2026 arrives in Europe today; it's Omloop het Neiuwsblad, the first of the spring classics! #LaFlammeVerte 15: open.substack.com/pub/morganhp...
Among the riders are Tom Pidcock and Wout van Aert, but this could be one for the sprinters.
Individualism is an ideology. It has gone HYPER and is causing great personal, social and environmental harm. The Miracle Inn is coming soon to do something about it. Visit www.themiracleinn.org to sign up to the newsletter.
Final stage of UAE π¦πͺ today, Abu Dhabi. Isaac del Toro wrapped up the GC, but who will win the final sprint? The race goes straight past the front door of the UAE climate ministry: morganhphillips.substack.com/p/la-flamme-...
It's the Jebel Hafeet at the UAE π¦πͺ tour today. This is where the GC gets decided. I'm tipping Isaac del Toro for the stage win, but can he win by enough to take the overall, and will the route be BBQ free? #LaFlammeVerte

I'm not sure if it is possible to design a more boring stage of World Tour pro cycling than today's stage of the Men's UAE π¦πͺ TOUR.
But, the show must go on, here's today's #LaFlammeVerte

Sprint stage today at #UAETour - it was quite a hard #LaFlammeVerte to find, but I managed it: morganhphillips.substack.com/p/la-flamme-...
It seems that the increase in National Insurance rate was intended to encourage investment in capital (aka AI) rather than people
Now we see the consequent decline in jobs
Why would a *Labour* government do this?
Responding to the priorities of the tech oligarchs, not the needs of working people
I donβt know who needs to hear Jesse Jackson leading the kids on Sesame Street in this beautiful call-and-response reminding them that every child is somebody, but here it is
Theres a quiet myth that #climate adaptation is less contentious than mitigation. It isnβt
Who's protected? Who pays? Who decides?
If we canβt transform society to decarbonize justly, why think adaptation will be easier? Both hinge on fairness, equality &democracy
Reminded of key Qs by @volts.wtf
Thanks for pointing this out, also @volts.wtf. And the list goes on, incl why do we normalise adaptation since many strategies are often associated with loss of livelihood, social capital and identity > rarely brought up. The global debates are just centred on funding, obscuring other key issues.
#LaFlammeVerte - UAE π¦πͺ Stage 2 has an air quality theme. I'm tipping Aberaeron's very own Josh Tarling for the win (but Remco will probably beat him!): open.substack.com/pub/morganhp...
Sign ups are going well so far, we're well into triple figures, but to make The Miracle Inn feel viable, we need 500+. So if you're as concerned as I am about the impact of Hyper-Individualism please head to www.themiracleinn.org to see what this is all about, and please sign up to the e-newsletter.
A popular topic of conversation at The Miracle Inn will very likely be this:
How will environmentalism be done differently in the middle decades of this century?
Will hyper-individualism be a key focus?
Sign up to the newsletter today to help get this off the ground:

@rupertread.bsky.social and I attempted to capture what Transformative Adaptation is in our short book on it - not sure we came up with anything definitive, but definitely had an exploration of what it might be. I think it is, itself, transformative and transforming if that's not too meta!
In this blog I ask if environmentalism - as understood and practiced in the West - is sufficient and make the case for a specific type of *cultural* approach that is already emergent and starting to happen. www.themiracleinn.org/blog/cultura... 2/2
The Miracle Inn (coming soon) will be built around the idea that environmentalists need to name hyper-individualism as a root cause problem and take it on directly. www.themiracleinn.org 1/2
