I literally fear to know where they would deport me as my ancestors came here from England in the mid-1600s. My most recent direct ancestor that was an immigrant was my maternal great great grandmother who immigrated from Canada, but was born in Ireland. My father’s family came in the late 1600s.

Lord, that is truly frightening after watching the hate and destruction of that day. After some of the treatment we are seeing at the hands of ice, I’d certainly believe records being illegally expunged to pass security checks for those hateful bozo’s!

…in her life nor ever worked in a home improvement store. She treated us like shit and was stupid! I spent 22 years in the Navy with the last 16 in leadership roles and I was working minimum wage while finishing my degree being told what to do by a lady who had not a clue how to lead!

We should have been boycotting them years ago since they refuse to allow their employees to unionize. They do everything to keep you from trying. They even mock unions in their introductory videos, it’s disgusting! I quit when they hired a new front end manager who had never had a leadership role…

Never saw such bad marching in my life and that’s saying a lot cuz I was in the Navy and we are not known for our marching (hard to do on ships 😂) but for the army to march that bad speaks volumes to me. A trashy military for a trashy president (and human)!

I completely agree and if I was still in I’d be refusing orders if they directed me to attack my fellow citizens. That should be ever service members decision, but realistically it isn’t. There are a lot of magats in the ranks! That military parade in June told me that many don’t respect him tho!

I’m frankly sick of the Islamophobia as well! I live in Detroit which is right next to Dearborn which has one of the highest Islamic populations in the U.S. I’ve also served in the Middle East. I’ve personally never had an issue, they are actually some of the nicest people one could meet in life!

Gotta take your word for it. I am not very familiar with birds or octopus although I have read that the octopus is intelligent, just don’t know if it is rational. And birds kinda freak me out. I understand their importance in the world, but I have never really recovered from watching “The Birds”. 😂

We just had an urban farm in Detroit do this the other day, except they handed out to anyone in need. I think it’s great regardless!

I’d believe this almost without proof. You can just look in their eyes and see intelligence. You can also see today that many mammals have a rationality we didn’t know about before. Like wild animals using humans to help in dire situations. I’d say that is pretty rational to overcome fear.

Ahh good point! Forgot about that one! Yes, in the past, normally they did take bids as to not show particular favoritism toward a contractor. But that was when we still had somewhat of a democracy.

Too bad Illinois doesn’t have the death penalty! I know a lot of people don’t agree with the death penalty, I’m not one of them, but it should not be disproportionate to the crime. This guy deserves it. He abused his authority and role and took an innocent life, likely because he is a bigot!
