People are starting to sell these stickers.

I’d buy some but people would ask questions if they saw me pull up to a gas pump in a Tesla 🙁

Gas prices are soaring – but one Los Angeles gas station is taking it to the extreme — Guardian US A Chevron station just outside downtown charges more than $8 a gallon – nearly $3 more than the city’s average

$8 a gallon gas has come to America, well to at least one gas station in LA.

Why? The war will make $8+ a gallon gas common soon, but this looks like not so good old fashioned price gauging.

As if the war wasn’t bad enough, it’s clear companies will use the it as an excuse to drive prices higher.

Asia rolls out four-day weeks and work-from-home as emergency measures to solve a fuel crisis caused by Iran war | Fortune The energy crunch is forcing governments to adopt extreme measures to save fuel; in Thailand, government employees are being asked to take the stairs.

The war with Iran may normalize the four day work week in Asia and then perhaps across the globe, as oil rationing becomes essential.

Also means that if you can afford to do a four day work week during a crisis, you must certainly can have a four day work week in times of peace.

Easy-to-use solar panels are coming, but utilities are trying to delay them Utilities are convincing lawmakers around the U.S. to delay bills that would allow people to buy solar panels, plug them into an outlet and begin generating electricity.

We could have easier cheaper solar power, so of course utility companies fight to block competition.

Shout-out to all the Democrats who voted to allow this to happen because they were mad about teens seeing videos of Palestinian children being murdered by IDF bombs. Real own goal.

People don’t realize Trump’s unlawful attack on Iran has already created years long consequences for oil prices.

Even if the war ended today, oil fields can’t turn on instantly. Sea mines don’t just shut off. Bombed out oil infrastructure can’t be replaced easily.

The nightmare has already begun.

Just a reminder that the Democratic Party enables Republicans to do whatever damage they can when they’re in power and then cleans it up while telling everyone that they really wish things could change but it just isn’t time to do it yet. Because of the messes, of course.

It’s becoming clear now that lone wolf attackers opposing our military actions in Iran are becoming disturbingly common.

The United States has done so many things to so many peoples that our nation is starting to destabilize.

In Tehran, hope for change turns to panic: 'They are turning the country into ruins' The war's impact has been most severe in the capital, a bustling, densely packed metropolis home to 10 million people.

Iran’s brutal crackdown had many wanting change and hoping for strikes from the U.S.

Iranians now see the insanity of hoping for outside military intervention as America lays waste to Tehran.

Miller’s thought experiment leaves something out:

Why would another nation randomly attack another unprovoked?

Oh wait, it’s Iran, we provoked them and they view us as an existential threat that will always try to wipe them off the face of the earth.

Yeah, people don’t react well to that.

I hear so much about communism killing people (mostly old Cold War propaganda figures).

Yet so rarely does anyone acknowledge the lives taken by capitalism and greed.

Republicans and Democrats Are United in Their War on the Unhoused Theo Henderson, creator of the “We the Unhoused” podcast, discusses organizing against demonization of unhoused people.

Former teacher Theo Henderson became unhoused when he was evicted after losing his job and falling into medical debt due to spiraling costs related to his diabetes. When he began documenting his experiences in 2019, 3 people were dying on the streets of LA every day. Now, that number has doubled.

I know multiple people like this and this is happening explicitly because no mainstream liberal/Dem media figure is forcefully opposing the Iran war, the genocide in Gaza, and explicitly calling out Israel's malign influence on US politics and the only ntl. politicians who do are Rashida and Ilhan

Wearing All Black at Protests Makes You Guilty of Terrorism, Prosecutors Tell Jury The case is a major test of the Trump administration's push to label "antifa" protesters as terrorists.

The federal government is explicitly arguing that "wearing black clothes" at a noise demonstration is "enough to convict the eight defendants accused of material support" for terrorism. The outcome of this trial cold be catastrophic.

FBI warns Iran aspired to attack California with drones in retaliation for war: Alert The warning came in a bulletin that was reviewed by ABC News.

I’m not shocked there is concern Iran may find a way to strike on US soil.

Drones are flattening the gap in military capabilities between nation states. The more we destroy human life around the world, the more likely it is we will be shown the same kindness in return one day.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi nicknamed Trump’s attack on his nation as “Operation Epic Mistake.”

When the guys you’re attacking can make fun of you while shutting down a major international trade route, perhaps this means you’re losing the illegal war you started.
