CANADA π¨π¦ FOR THE WIN
PARALYMPIC HISTORY
The Canadian wheelchair curling team defeats USA 7-3, becoming the first-ever team in Paralympic history to go through the round robin without a loss. What a team. What an achievement. Outstanding.
Today we celebrate the birthday of American actor Anton Yelchin, born today in 1989. Yelchin is best known in fandom for playing Pavel Chekov in the rebooted Star Trek franchise. #AntonYelchin
Australian TV news: "And notice which country is not on the buy side of that chart. The United States, they don't need it. They've got their own oil. They're fine. But you won't see any of those countries that are on the buy side of that chart bombing Iran, so they close those straits."
This might be one of the greatest shots that I have ever seen.
Damn.
Not to get too philosophical but this really was mesmerizing

But yeah, itβs rebuild time.
When you fill the roster with not ideal fliers like they did this year this is the result you get.
Itβs also possible you get stuck with those fliers for longer than you want.
Regardless of coach, consider what you lose when you take those minutes away from someone else, namely the top six guys. Because berube gives Domi and Robertson way higher zone starts than other bottom sixers. Do you want Matthews and Tavares in the d zone more? The 4th line only in the d zone?
Raccoons are people, too
Yeah it flat out sucks. And itβs a second dagger in the Minten trade too. At the end of the day, end this stupid season and go into next with a first round pick you want to keep or trade (in fact they will have two now)
The other thing to look at is whatβs possible. Is 5th last possible? That would require 15 losses out of 19, pretty much all in regulation to read the p% of stl. Is 13-15th last possible? Much more easily yes. Plus these games are a tryout for all the players/prospects on the team

The last thing the leafs should do is tank their remaining games
I started coaching high school hockey, itβs so much more fun than anything the leafs have given me
Natural selection
And i guess the IR risk is low. My thing is he won't be on a team legitimately trying to contend because they wouldn't want to risk that kind of weakness. I can't get past the abysmal CF% and xGF% numbers. *He* can score goals, but i dont think the team is winning when he's on the ice.
