Lot to like in this piece -- whether you are a moderate or a progressive, you should be triangulating less based on the advice of pollsters and experimenting more. Voters want authenticity, not pablum.

16.02.2026 06:03 β π 7 π 4 π¬ 2 π 0My question is related: aviation fuel (kerosene) is generally a relatively low value distillate that is produced along with other lucrative products. What will happen to the production chain when ground transportation becomes increasingly electrified? Will this encourage use of alternative fuels?

Everything old is new again: environmental lawyers are facing Deja Vu with EPA's arguments to repeal the Endangerment Finding, which essentially reopen issues folks thought the Supreme Court had settled in 2007. @emilypont.bsky.social @heatmap.news

βI don't see any plan, any strategy, any end game,β says Pat Parenteau, a professor of environmental law at the University of Vermont. βI don't see anything from this administration, just fuck everything up as much as you can. You can print that.β
Sounds accurate to me.
I have to disagree with you on this. Boycott Amazon, Amazon Web Services or something else that actually touches Bezos' bottom line. There are still great journalists who work for the @washingtonpost.com, including @shannonosaka.bsky.social & @johnmuyskens.bsky.social who co-wrote this piece.
