This was all the rage on the other app so why not, I’ll post it here too. I play such a range of roles that it is always surprise to see what other people associate my voice with 😂

BUT! there are also choices I (or we, the team of actor/engineer/client) that stuck, some that make me crack up just thinking about them, and some things that we got so many good options on that I have no idea what made final cut. Ask me at the end of the season about my fav new twst vocal stim 😻

There are plenty of things I was really happy with as both a director and a fan that other fans won’t see in the show because they weren’t the final selects and left on the cutting room floor, that’s just the way the cookie crumbles! (And one reason I love we got bloopers in KHR for all our sillies)

That’s not new for me, I work with close client supervision all the time, but it IS a new feeling to be *this* passionate about something that I’m not taking point on, haha! I’ve been spoiled with getting to do LOGH and KHR exactly how I wanted and answering to no one but my creative whims 😹

Man! Working on things you love is tough. I really loved TWST before working on it in an official manner, but that’s what made it difficult. I had to recognize I’m just a cog in the machine, and I’m working in someone else’s framework AND within that framework, some else’s (producer/client’s) vision

I made a huge note sheet for stuff about every boy, yapped over the phone/IRL/over email to Michael, the writer & Reuben many a times, as well as wrote notes in the script/alts. Thank you all for having grace & patience with my hyperfixation & giving me a space to wax poetics 😝

I got to direct Idia, Vil, the Octavinelle trio, & Lilia! My boys! But also Jamil, the rest of Diasomnia (minus Sebek), Jack, Ruggie (partially) & a lot of incidentals~

That’s me as the narrator for the Twisted Wonderland dub trailer! I also got to assistant direct on this first season, excited for people to see our work, and humbled to have gotten to craft the debut performances for my favorite TWST boy~!

Dang, lots of projects I’m in have dropped in the last week and change. Super grateful to all the studios and people who have given me the opportunity to play such a variety of characters 🥰

I’m still in disbelief I get to play a main character in a new Fire Emblem game & I hope I can continue telling his story for a long time to come 💜

Not that VoiceQ makes bad dubs, I just think too many production use it as a way to make fast food style dubs, which can happen beep-style too. Let directors actually direct! Let adaptors adapt! Let’s make art plz. Where is the art in dubs 😭

I hope if & when it gets a dub, it’s done by a passionate team who give it the attention to detail & nuance it deserves and it isn’t just steamrolled through with a cast of 3 actors on VoiceQ with no one giving context. No paint by numbers, no “it’s anime read it like this” shit.
