But it's a lie. Men aren't free in a patriarchal system. And in a sex-segregated patriarchal system, they spend more of their time around other men who seek to control them.

It isn’t a repository to knowledge that is meted out to those who pay an entrance fee. It isn’t someplace where some teach and others learn.

Instead, the university is a community. Learning happens in community. Knowledge is developed in community.
