New Orleans bar will serve its final Hurricane in San Antonio
COVID-19 and construction were contributing factors.
San Antonio's Pat O'Brien's, an extension of the original location in New Orleans, is expected to serve its last Hurricane later this month. The bar recently announced it will close at the end of August.๐น @mysanantonio.com

In defense of the blue-hued crispy dogs at Gimme Gimme in S.A.
No, blue tortillas are not a sign of gentrification.
I feel strongly about Gimme Gimme's crispy dogs, so I wrote about them again for @mysanantonio.com.

I spent two days at Oscar's Taco House during its last week of service. The restaurant was preparing to close to make way for a new city bridge, and the community showed up in droves to say goodbye to the 63-year-old restaurant. ๐ฎโฅ๏ธ
