one conclusion from following the timeline of this story is that a more aggressive approach to dereliction initially might have saved the council money in the long run (and probably saved these houses)

I love data so it's v pleasing to be able to see the results of the Irish Garden Bird Survey for my small suburban garden over 4 years. Sparrows dominated in 2021/2 but every year since then the numbers of Goldfinches has grown & everything else dipped. Has a surprise visit from 4 Siskins yesterday!

An L-shaped penitential cairn that surrounds a small well overlooking the valley of Glencolmcille

Tobar Cholm Cille, or St Colmcille’s Holy Well, is set high on the hills above the beautiful and historic valley of Glencolmcille in County Donegal.

It forms part of the Turas or pilgrimage route that traverses the valley in honour of the famous saint Colmcille (also known as Columba).
