[2/75] An early challenge reminder that iβm not doing this for aesthetics. Itβs entirely for my physical and mental health. Proof that I can overcome a challenge, do the hard thing, and be healthy. #75hard
while i said i was going to follow 75 hard to the letter there is one thing iβm changing. iβm lowering the water goal to half a gallon because trying to force that much water is like torture. not everyone needs that much water all the time lol.
[1/75] Today 75 Hard begins. I have been struggling with consistency for weeks now and this is hopefully the Spring reset Iβve been needing. #75hard #gymsky
on saturday we wrapped up our first 2 year-long campaign. i canβt believe i was actually able to pull this off but also thankful i have a group that is willing to stick around and do this again. we kick off campaign 2 in april! #ttrpg
but i am trying to enjoy a 350 page book that is very good but iβve convinced myself things are moving too fast lmao. i need to spend some time reading the 100-200 pg little guys like a palette cleanser.
like not every detail needs pages of descriptions and we donβt always need paragraphs of inner monologue for a single line of dialogue. i do eat it up every single time though, i love dense books apparently.
i read a lot of very long books like ~800-1k pages and i find that when i switch to a book or series that are in the 300-500 pg range i have to remind myself that the story isnβt being rushed and this is a normal sized book. does anyone else have that problem?
i'm just looking for more dungeon master friends
this looks interesting! i'll add it to my list to consider.
the entire point is that if i put the book back on the shelf i forget to finish it.
i'm also trying to get back to my #readaroundtheworld challenge so i need recs for those
i initially didn't like this idea because i like my shelves set up a certain way but i completely forgot i was in the middle of a few of these books.
alright so i had to finally set up a tbr cart because i kept putting books back on the shelf and accidentally dnf-ing. #booksky gimme some recs so i can fill up the middle section.
anyway
π₯΅ good year to be a ferrari fan
i'm probably most excited about the og trilogy from the mmc's pov. i may tandem read them like twilight/midnight sun
the fact that she matched the ink colour to each book cover too? *chef's kiss*
a lil book shopping tonight and i found an author whom i love but have heard no one talk about apparently kept writing a series i adored as a teenager. so naturally i bought these gorgeous signed versions. i have no one to talk to about this!
I use Inkarnate to make maps when I have a story idea and basically use it to maladaptive daydream about world and lorebuilding. One day I'll actually sit and write these stories instead of just thinking them.
we're all on storygraph right? help keep me on track with my reading this year > jadealexa

Sharing my setup for in-person games ft. my Wyrmwood table. I'm looking for more accessories to elevate gameplay (like lights or props). #wyrmwoodgaming #dungeonsanddragons
