Sycophantic AI Decreases Prosocial Intentions and Promotes Dependence Both the general public and academic communities have raised concerns about sycophancy, the phenomenon of artificial intelligence (AI) excessively agreeing with or flattering users. Yet, beyond isolat...

I've been saying it for a while; using AI literally steals your soul.

Interested in selling you their rasty glass growler. I was able to fill this for $28 at CB, and $22 at Societe, so, growler are now actually cost-effective. And, if you're in the market for a growler; I can recommend this one.

don't bother with Guinness. Having said that, if you get a carbonated beer and toss this growler in your fridge, it will keep beer cold and drinkable for 48 hours, and it takes up less space than tiniest. Also, there's been a cultural shift in North County breweries recently and most places aren't

The growler is made by a company called "Wren," and they claim this 64 Oz. monster will keep beer cold and carbonated for 36 hours. As seen here, it delivers on that promise 24 hours later. I know from testing that this growler doesn't preserve nitrogenated beers well, so, (3)

is like nothing else I've ever enjoyed. It opens with a slight sour note that opens into tart strawberry flavors and a soft, slightly sweet body. It finishes crispy with a sweet malty bread note. At 5% ABV, it's an unparalleled #sessionale that I recommend for all events and seasons (2)

This is going to be a thread reviewing Carlsbad Brewing's "Strawberry Blonde Ale" and the Wren Outdoor Growler. If there is one beer you get at Carlsbad Brewing, I can not speak too highly of their "Strawberry Blonde Ale." I try to find unique beers at every watering hole I visit, and this beer 1

This is Beachwood Brewing's #imperialporter. It opens with overpowering coffee notes and a crushing stout-like body (9% ABV). It has a chewy, chocolate finish. I recommend it for everyone who likes Porters.

This is Carlsbad Brewing's Munich-style lager. It opens with a crisp tart note that dissolves into a medium, lager-y body. What makes this brew special is the lingering citrus finish. At 5% ABV, it's not a palate-crusher.

We must tax churches, and, when we retake power, we must temporarily abolish the Judicial Branch and rebuild it from the bottom up. Judges must not be granted freedom of association, and religious leaders must not be allowed to lobby politicians.

This is Stone Brewing's #hazyipa. It opens with lovely light citrus notes that get smothered in a full, boozy (6.7% ABV) body with pine and floral notes, then a chewy, malty finish.

This is a #festbier from Sierra Nevada Brewing and Stortebeker. It opens with mild, malty, bread notes and has a soft, coppery body that finishes almost immediately with a crisp sour note. I recommend it for hot, sunny October days.

Walking home from today's #nokings protest, I saw a counterprotestor screaming that 0.45 IS a king. All I could do was shout back, "Do you have any real friends?!" And I think that's my new go-to response for the MAGAts.

This is Harland Brewing's #japaneselager. I'm not a fan of #lager, but after a morning marching in blazing heat, this brew is perfect. It opens with slightly tart citrus notes that are immediately replaced by a soft, malty body with rice and floral notes, and a swift, crisp finish. It's 5% ABV.

This is Societe Brewing's pumpkin ale. It opens with a slight sour ale note, with slight lime that immediately opens into a lovely malty body with sweet caramel notes and subtle #pumpkinspice that mellows into a nice chewy, spicy sweet finish. At $22 for a growler fill, it's a bargain.

This is Stone Brewing's "Imperial Zombie Love Potion" American Strong Ale. It opens with a hefty, malty, coffee notes that quickly fade into a crushing chocolate and citrus notes with a chewy finish. I'd recommend it, but, at 9% ABV, be careful.

No. Automatic and universal forgiveness was granted the South in the 1890's. We're just going to put this problem off another generation if there isn't some sort of penance on their part.

something brand-new. So is Russian occupation of North America. By definition, any effective resistance to this will be a geopolitical novelty. But, yeah, we are embarrassingly under-reacting, as a whole.

going to resemble South Africa in 1989; it's going to be 1973 Belfast - a high-explosive combination of peaceful protests and a ton of individualized political violence. As someone trying to organize peacefully and also looking into responsible firearm ownership; the threat of technofascism is (3)

and judicial power for 40+ years. As a result, most places have local laws making it nigh-impossible for mass peaceful protests. One thing I'll say to everyone out there is that literally all of my Leftist friends are taking advantage of our lax gun laws to arm themselves. The Resistance is NOT (2)

If you view us as a peer democracy experiencing democratic backslide, you'll miss what's really going on. We've only ever been, at best, like a Baltic Republic in the late 90's - limited enfranchisement, gross socioeconomic inequities, and a rabid Executive Branch that's been usurping legislative(1)

As someone whose country is currently under Russian Occupation; you guys need to nip that in the bud. Being associated with foreign oligarchs in 2025 must carry the same sting as having parents in the SS in 1947 - society must exile and boycott them all.

Finally, democracies can not peacefully coexist with autocracies. After killing the current crop of international fascists, legitimate business folx in the Free World must never be allowed to interact with their counterparts in autocratic societies. That's exactly how authoritarianism conquered (25)
