The more you "dehumanize" a situation by making something softer or even in some horrid cases "cuter" - no - we need to draw attention to serious things.

DEATH and SUICIDE are real, not toys or fake or silly things.

These things have impact as they should, because they are serious.

This whole trend started because of two reasons:

#1 - Money! YouTube ads won't run if you say bad words!

#2 - Sensitivity! People don't like scary language (but they'll act like fucking morons 24/7 and cry, bitch, piss and moan).

Say the words, be real, don't be offensive, just be human.

Truthfully this was one of my shorts, not a main video that Kristin wrote haha.

But either way I always try to be respectful in my own scripts. Shorts sadly are limited on time and when I write'm I just want to get information out there for the public in a quick burst.

We got backlash on one of our recent shorts on the Villains With Vaughn channel.

Yes, I agree true crime can be ghoulish and can glamorize horrible people.

Our purpose, however, is only to bring stories to the attention of the public. We only state facts of solved crimes.

Doesn't matter how old you are, your gender, race, none of it, it's okay to ask for help. Emotions are a part of life and your life is a precious and beautiful thing.

We're all in that boat one way or another, so check in, be nice, be kind.

To anyone out there feeling down, sad, broken, heavy, anything of that nature, I feel that.

These days there's a lot of questions I have in my head and heart, a lot of creeping sadness I have, worries and fears, but that's human nature.

It's okay to feel down, it's okay to need help.

Up late with a bit of anxiety because I damn near had my identity stolen today due to a shit voice acting situation, doing laundry in the 70F weather since the day-time hours will be well over 90F.

Today is a 50/50 possible scam day.

Finished some work, waiting for a payment and I have my "I've had my shitting identity stolen" letter ready to send just in case.

Fucking hate going through third party anything.

Unless I know it's some hardcore scam via email (that's where the fun identity thieves are) I usually respond just to see wtf is going on so I can understand a new scam.

One of the biggest scams is the YouTube Voice Needed shit.

I work on YouTube for a lot of people (and myself) and it's very hard to find someone genuine on that front either.

Lots of predators, lots of scammers, CCC ain't doing shit about it either.

Castingcall.club is rapidly becoming "not worth the trouble" just due to the overwhelming number of scammers now infecting the site, from the fake agencies and the fake animators spamming the exact same message on EVERY project posted. It's always good to keep more eyes out for these. Good spot.

And now the proof so yall can see for yourselves.

Note: I pressed them for information because I always do, unless they are a truly obvious scammer.

So yeah, have fun with this and avoid this type of spam at all costs.

So to new #voiceactors please be cautious, be smart and be informed. Don't just jump on everything right away, use your brain, use your noggin.

Do we all want to be on a roster with an agent? Hell yes, helps out tremendously.

But are they all "legit"? Fuck no, scams exist everywhere.

#VoiceActors I want yall to be aware of a possible scam/phisher that I ran into on CastingCallClub.

A guy representing "Voice Core Agency" contacted me saying I had previously messaged him, which I had not.

This guy dodged a majority of my questions then dipped out of the conversation.

Shady!
