The main driver of spiralling homelessness figures is not migrants, say sources within the sector, but ongoing “crisis in the private rental market”.

I theorise that instead of us men talking in dialogue with others about how we feel about the world around us, it’s easier (“social” feed), more invisible (EarPods) and as intimate (not a dialogue) to simply listen in to parasocial chats between men. No need to contribute but gives “answers”

"We believe it is of the utmost importance that we continue to be visibly queer."

Thanks to Lucina and Krystal for their time.

The brazen nature of the attack is very worrying and highlights the dangers many queer people in Ireland face today. This is not ok.

I'm actually sort of excited to see all the different ways in which the people who are paid enormous money to analyse the landscape of Irish politics are about to get this all wrong.

That’s why Catherine Connolly is Ireland’s next President. Her campaign listened, understood, and reflected the values people hold dear — hope, fairness, and a vision for a more inclusive Ireland. #Aras25

Those in power too often miss this truth: people aren’t asking for stability in a failing system. They’re asking for renewal — for leaders who reflect their humanity and vision. #Aras25

For nearly a decade, public data has shown that Ireland’s next generation values compassion, creativity, and courage — not complacency. They want to build systems that care, question, and imagine better. #Aras25

Children's Ombudsman hugely concerned over use of AI 'nudify' apps on images of underage girls Teenagers have cited a ‘chilling’ effect on their online behaviour as a result of the apps.

“The ease of access by children to this type of technology is a huge concern to the Ombudsman for Children’s Office (OCO). It is difficult to comprehend any possible need for these apps when the risk of abuse and sexual exploitation of children is so high.”

McGregor's 'dangerous Dublin' claim traces to gambling site list Conor McGregor appears to have based one of the key views he expressed during his St Patrick's Day White House visit on a ranking of European cities published by an online gambling company.

A survey-anyone site ranks cities.

A gambling site uses that output directly in a press release.

Media pick up the release, run headlines like 'Dublin among most dangerous cities in Europe.'

Twitter users add their spice - it ends up in the White House.

2025 infocycle.

I wrote this on young men, and why we need to stop lying about why they're easy prey for reptiles like Andrew Tate.
