My wife and I have been listening to the pod since the Quigley days. He had a unique, youthful perspective on film/TV and I’ve always missed his presence on the pod a little. The Filmcast is still one of the best podcasts and it saddens me that a foundational part of it is gone. Love to you all.
I love E33. It’s now on my top 10 of all time video game list. And saying that, even I’m a little like…9 wins? Wow. Really? OK. We’re not gonna spread the love around a bit more? I in no way think the game isn’t undeserving, it’s just a little much. Like you said, a lot to unpack.

I think for about half this year, after my wife and kid were done with dinner, it was family Blue Prince time. All three of us, working together to get through that house. Wonderful game that had all three of us locked in.

@blueprincegame.bsky.social My 7 year old son and I attended or local video game convention in MN (2D Con) this weekend. We love playing Blue Prince together, so he cosplayed as Simon. Spent time at various doors around the con trying to draft rooms.
As parent myself, the random moments of just being pissed for no reason, or being set off by one or two things that just lead to what I call, “falling into the pit,” is completely relatable.
We don’t have solutions. Just experiences. All I would say, it gets easier, and I hope it does soon.
