Positively, the data shows that 16.7% of full-time first-degree entrants to Scottish universities came from the nation’s 20% most deprived areas, an increase from 16.3% in 22/23 and a step towards the 2030 targets. (3/4)

Announcement of funding to support the change to the Scottish Teachers’ Pension Scheme and NHS Pension Scheme employer contribution rates.
Unexpected & welcome news! £5.8m to help unis in the teachers pension & NHS schemes meet costs.
This reverses the 24/25 cut as employer contributions went ⬆️ from 23% to 26% - with moderns worst affected. Great to see resource go back in. 🤞it's baselined.
