A redesign of Penny Polendina, drawn by Lone. The design is predominantly based on the Fixing RWBY volume 7 redesign (by u/ModdedJoker on Reddit), with elements also borrowed from the designs used for her in canon, alongside design elements from Blades in Xenoblade 2. Her hair, as usual, is a bright ginger and quite long, reaching down to just above her hips. A pink bow-hairtie holds her hair back out of her face; said how has a green centerpiece. She’s wearing a frilly, short-sleeved, button-down blouse in a creme-white color, a black corset with gold accents, and a two-layer pencil skirt, the outer layer being a faded green which gets darker towards the bottom, and the inner layer being a neon green. The inner layer is visible through a triangular cutout in the top layer. She’s also wearing pitch black all-purpose boots and similarly dark socks, with the boots having laces in the same neon green as the under layer on her skirt or the center of her hair bow. Penny also has ether lines in neon green, running down her neck, over her shoulders, and onto her arms and hands, where they terminate in an outline of a circle on the backs of her hands. Similar ether lines run down the sides of her legs as well. She has a core crystal similarly shaped to an aegis core, too, but it is shorter vertically than those found on the aegises, fitting into a square instead of a rectangle. ( For the reason for that, you’ll all have to wait for the fanfic :p ) Her pose is confident and exuberant, one of her hands in a triumphant fist near her face, with the other spread out at her side; she also has a massive grin on her face!

The idea that everybody on the planet must forever be beholden to the default of babysitter of other people’s children except for their actual fucking parents, and as a result any attempt to opt of non-consensual babysitting must include getting my identity stolen, is an idea that must fucking die.

Kinda Fucked Up that in our lifetimes we've gone from "never share personal info on the internet" to "hand over your identity to the most incompetent corporations imaginable".

Really funny how the ruling class keeps justifying infringing on our liberties with "we gotta protect the children" while bombing palestinian children, protecting a global billionaire network of child trafficking, and building measles infested children prisons

it drives you insane how much erosion of freedom is justified by concern for kids when the people who actually hurt them will never face consequences

that this sort of shit does nothing to help kids. That - if anything - it alienates them even further from support, agency, and freedom; further enabling the abuses they're experiencing from the most likely offenders (people known and close to the victim).

Protect the kids, they say. It's a joke.

How can they strive towards their dreams and goals if they're raised in a culture that tells them that school is useless? There will be no jobs at the end of it, and you're gonna be poor and living with your parents forever. And I can't help but think about how experts time and again have said

I'm thinking about all the kids abused by their parents who didn't know they were being abused because it wasn't physical and how we do so little to help them in those situations. I think about the world as it is in all it's horrifying uncertainty and how much that harms kids too.

censorship harm kids more than help them. I'm thinking about how they got rid of computer labs and internet safety classes. Of how tik tok has created a culture of young people who will post their face, entire address and life history to the masses and not realize the safety risk that is. ->
