There’s some conservative bros who got their news from wishful thinking and “intellectual podcasts” who assured me I had nothing to worry about, if anything I was saying turned out true, they’d be calling it out. Now’s your time my dudes! You’re awfully fucking silent in the face of our persecution.

OPM finally published policy based on the gender definition EO that explicitly states a bathroom ban. Depending how you read it, also prohibits gender neutral bathrooms. Agency heads have a deadline of COB Today to send the email announcement enacting this policy.

My faith tells of a Holy Spirit who will comfort and give us words when we have none. I pray with all my heart that she will meet each of us in that moment we know is coming today.

As they say in my church … God is with you. God is for you. God is on your side.

They’re going to stake out a moral high ground while impugning our humanity. It is going to hurt like hell. Count on it.

I am struggling to continually remind myself, that while I have no control over their actions, I have control over my response.

If you’re trans and you work for or contract for the federal government, today is going to be hard. They’re going to strip us of our dignity and make it sound like a reasonable, responsible thing that decent people couldn’t disagree with.
