I’ve always done it right after I made the booking, so not usually within 24 hrs. I’m keeping my fingers crossed for you!
I have had this frustration with Air Canada SO MANY TIMES for the exact same reason. Frustrating.
This would be a solution if oil production was nationalized, but U.S. oil producers don’t sell only to U.S. consumers. They sell to the highest bidder.
It was no more an error than when Israel bombed all those hospitals in Gaza. It was very much deliberate. Hegseth should be fired, Trump should be removed from office, the military leaders should be stripped of their positions, and the whole lot of them should be prosecuted for war crimes.
Oh, I petered out halfway through a season with that one as well.
One must know which show!
I’m honored!
I had a task to do today that I am pretty sure would have taken me 5-10 minutes with AI, but the stubborn bull I am I refuse to give in.
In Alberta we refer to “petrosexuals”—people who are so determined to extract as much oil as possible no matter the cost. But this is a whole nuther level.
He is more tender and humane towards crude than towards actual humans.
I renounced and returned my PhD to NYU last June for its behavior towards a graduation speaker who mentioned Palestine at the end of their speech. What’s the use having a degree from an institution that clearly opposes free thought?
This is a great essay.
I want to make clear that I count myself among the majority of essayists who have trouble writing something genuinely readable at 3000 or 5000 words! I just realized that this was very poorly worded! QED.

Wait you’re telling me his giant SS tattoo wasn’t just innocent fun?!?!!
Oh that’s so nice of you, thank you!
I am pro Iranian people. I stand with them against their own government’s repression AND against the imperial violence in the form of bombs dropped from the sky from Israel & the US who have already killed hundreds.
I support neither imperialism or dictatorship.
Sahar Delijani said it best:
I was speaking today with an artist who used to be one of Arafat’s bodyguards. The US/Israel had just announced they had killed the ayatollah. He explained, in great detail, what surveillance capability Israel has and what Iran has, and told me there’s very little chance the news is true.
