I will be giving the ships tilt when they turn. None of this makes real sense in space combat but it looks cool. More Star Wars and less 2000s BSG inertia-like combat. Fun First. ;)

Ships will have directional thrust animations - IE if the ship is moving diagonal backwards you will see front compensators firing off and/or side etc in addition to rear.

Today's progress on The Road to Valhalla, converted the HD concept art into a useable 96x128/ 32 color sprite. Designed realistic palette and attempted to keep the spirit of the concept detail. Both player sprite designs completed and P1 movement animations started.

I didn't work on The Road to Valhalla this weekend. I opted to play @hytale.bsky.social with my kids. I hope to have the steam page up for the game soon for wish lists. Also will start live streaming sprite creation soon. Stay tuned.
Oh and there is a 2nd Volgarr game out - flew under the radar for most people.

Been decent, tried to help out at some other studios that didn't pan out so I think im just going to focus on making my own stuff again, unless someone comes up with a really compelling reason not to. Making a shmup (not bullet hell, old school style like Raiden). Should be done in a few weeks.
