@runnymedetrust.bsky.social highlight today is #EqualPayDay where 1000s of women in effect start working for free for the rest of the year. This is worse for minority ethnic women who are also subject to the #EthnicityPayGap. These systemic barriers & inequalities need to change.

My real worry about this situation is the impact in schools. These policies will provide an excuse for discrimination and bullying and children will subject to a lot of cruel abuse.

Does Nigel realise that children can speak MORE than 1 language?? That bilingual learners often outperform monolingual peers? That 1 in 3 Glasgow children may also include those speaking Gaelic or other European languages, maybe like his own German wife??

Man in hospital after assault and attempted robbery in shopping mall Emergency services were called to the House of Sher Mall in Glasgow around 8.20pm on Monday evening.

This is terrifying.I've seen the cctv video which shows the robber stabbing 1 of the workers who intervened.
The police say don't intervene,report it but then nothing happens. For small businesses especially the rising level of crime and shoplifting is not sustainable.
