Done. It was super tricky finding right-handed sword arm, but I made it work.

I had some bits left over from the Wolfguard Terminator kit I decided to spruce up a dreadnought I never got round to actually painting. Getting that pelt on the shoulder pad took way too long, but hopefully it looks good once painted.

Is there somewhere we can download this new sign from if we want to use it in a submission?

Me: I've built a lot of kitbashes lately. Maybe I should actually paint some of them.

I feel like I'm striving to be a modelling equivalent to your painting i.e. what kind of novel and outside-the-box ideas can I come up with?

They don't call me Kit Bash Chris for nothing!* Here's what I've done with the Wolf Guard Terminator kit. 3 Deathwatch secondments, and 3 just cool looking dudes. Lot of fun to work with.

*Disclaimer - they don't actually call me Kit Bash Chris at all, though they're welcome to if they'd like.

Another day, another Wolf Guard. Swapped the hand of the Storm Bolter to give him a "breacher" configuration.

I always figured it would need to be an interesting find to be worth making a video about (or else it'll end up in a lightning round, maybe). It should be fairly obvious that the number of "Find me!" requests far exceeds your video-making bandwidth.

Seemed like it. I know I did.

Various beverages, both caffeineted and non, are available throughout the night from Bugman's, thank goodness.

My six-year-old drew a pretty banger Warhammer logo on my birthday card.

If I've learned one thing from the Internet it's that you shouldn't let a lack of knowledge get in the way of forming a strong opinion on a subject.

Used some Space Wolf-y bits and the Leviathan Terminator Captain to make a new addition to the Deathwatch.

In this latest episode of "Why can't you just assemble things straight out of the box?" I present to you a spear-wielding Wolf Guard, the first of some increasingly aspirational conversions I have planned for this squad.
Might actually paint this guy up as a Wolf Spear.

The real question is - why has it taken until now for this combination to happen?

Hope everyone's keeping warm in this ridiculous heat. I've found a nice local place that'll rent you a seat in an aircon'd room for a few hours for a decent price. Oh, and they're also showing the new Superman film, which is nice.

Sometimes painting can be highly detailed, complex and time consuming. And sometimes your 8yo nephew asks if you can paint his new Seraphon model "gold, just gold, nothing else". Spray, wash, drybrush, done.

Blending paints is tricky when the weather is warm enough to dry the paint between the pallete and the mini. But I persevered and I'm pretty happy with the outcome. Just the base to go.

Given how familiar we as players/readers are with both the Horus Heresy and Era Indomitus I think it's easy to forget what it's like for the average Joe in the 41st Millennium. HH is literally legend to them. Guilliman coming back is like us saying "Hey, Romulus came back." "What, the guy that founded Rome? No." "Yeah, and he's basically king now." "For reals?" "Yeah, and he's leading a giant crusade." Then the Lion shows up. "Oh, by the way King Arthur is now back as well." "What?!?"

This came up during a chat with some fellow hobbyists and I feel it's an insight worth sharing.

A Techmarine takes his first steps on the road the heresy. I combined Techmarine and a few slightly de-chaosified Warpsmith bits to create an otherwise loyal Space Marine contemplating (just contemplating, promise!) a daemon weapon.

I didn't know what chapter he was going to be when I started, but really which other chapter would be hurling themselves screaming at the enemy with a giant sword? So this is my first non-Deathwatch Black Templar.

There is a direct line of events which began with Jamie Oliver banning turkey twizzlers and ends with Horus being brought low on the moon of Davin.

I did it! I mean, it'll need some greenstuff on the wrist, and some additional reinforcing on the shoulder joints, but I did it!
