Study focusing on the "direct approach" to painting tones, which involves painting light, halftone, and shadow as you go rather than laying down the value pattern all at once. The light source is artificial and purposefully leaves out most shadows in order to focus on rendering the light and halftone planes on the form.

Study focusing on the "big tone" approach, which involves laying down large flat approximations of the light, halftone, and shadow planes first and then making the appropriate refinements until a convincing form is achieved. The lighting is direct sunlight placed above the subject's head.

Study focusing on the "soft approach" to painting tones, in which the initial tonal pattern is laid down with deliberately soft edges, sharpening edges only where needed in the later stages. Light source is artificial and is deliberately based on the lighting used in some scenes from Twin Peaks.

She's found saying, a thought bubble over her head transitioning from a more standard font to a Pokemon Emerald text box appears saying "ARE YOU KIDDING ME" Rotom smugly puts its flaps on its sides as it proclaims "Wow! New Pokedex entry #359, the Disaster pokemon blah blah yap yap yap"

The absol is now dropped on all fours, poorly fitting clothes strewn across the floor and herself as her tail wags, blush across her face as her pupils dilate. A box appears at the top saying "Absol was brainrotted". Meanwhile the Rotom retorts "I feel like this outcome was Justified LOL", the Absol replying "So Sol Absa Sol (Shut the fuck up)".
