I use it to quell anxiety and sleep better. But I found pure THC (indica or sativa) to have an initial anxiety boosting effect. So I tried a mix of THC and CBD as I read it counters the psychosis effects. It worked for me as a perfect counter. 10% CBD + 20% THC is a nice ratio.

I quit Adobe years ago when I lost my password for my cloud and support couldn't reset it or change it for me. They kept me going in circles for months. So I moved to become a free-dev. The only product they have that I would use now is Substance as the alternatives are weaker.

External pressure to quit a solo dev project has ruined my attempts at every stage. I wish I had the freedom to just finish my projects rather than be forced away from them. Stay strong and aim for that finish line !

My games are still in prototype stage. Left on a shelf as I deteriorate from burnout. I don't think I'm cut out to be a solo dev with the constraints of feeding a family always pushing me to over work myself. I feel more solo devs should just group up, especially in my case.

for years I resented Javascript because of the time I was a web dev and had to rewrite code between browsers. Now I resent the full stack system for the same quasi-solutions yet the internet is running on it somehow. Modern websites make me feel sick when I see the code tho :/

I've been using AI with coding for deep diving. I have 25 years experience learning code with 11 languages in total. When I teach other people coding who only know it with GPT it's obvious they have no fundamental knowledge but the question is, will it matter when AI code gets good?

It's taking it's time to get normalised here. Some people don't even realise it's legal. I've lost the respect of family members because I self-medicated before it was legal. They think of me as a wierd stoner. I'm wierd, sometimes stoned, but I don't even like it. It just works for my ailments.

No it's going to help it. There will be trashloot AI built games, but it won't ruin anything except the saturation. The real quality indie devs will use AI to the benefit of the development cycle and improve workflows, save time and produce things they couldn't have previously in the time they have.

Truly one of the greatest action movies of all time. My favourite John Woo movie, however, is Bullet in the head. A movie that will always bring a tear to my eye in a certain scene. A brutal story of how brotherhood and friendship is lost in the worst of circumstances.

The gaps between disciplines. For example, spending 3 months coding C++, then doing blueprints for 3 months, then doing modelling for 3 months, then doing UI for 3 months, then doing animation for 3 months, only to come back to coding C++ and wondering how you even did it in the first place.

Week 7 of burnout with #UnrealEngine due to over-working myself trying to achieve something that pays for my family's expenses. At this point I feel only a paying job will force my mind into action because my brain is too cloudy to know what to do to fix things. Burnout sucks. Take proper rests ppl!

I've had 4 months away from mine due to financial issues affording my prescription. I'm dreading the day I get it back because I'm a lightweight (1g/day tops of 20% THC). It always makes me feel guilty for being baked too due to the 30+ years of stigma attached.

I can't code when someone is watching me because I sit amongst gods who can code off the top of their heads and even after 25 years I still code through a mental pointer/reference system where I know what to look for but have to google what I need. It feels lazy but I'm just not leet enough I guess.

From the PC user perspective, I love it when I see an Unreal Engine game and know I can config tweak to get the best performance. But that's platform independent really as long as I have access to the file system. Default setttings from the benchmark are never 100% correct.

I once talked to James Caan on Twitter and made him laugh after he was attacked for something he said. I replied "What's the matter with you. I think your brain is going soft with all that comedy you are playing with that young girl. Never tell anyone on Twitter what you are thinking again!".

I was playing Final Fantasy 16 a couple of weeks ago. Ralph Ineson was voicing a main character, so I started to do his lines along with the subtitles. It made me feel like a VA for about an hour or two. Felt good. :)

I like the "get it before they do" approach in some games. Like Survival game modes in The Division 1 or the CoD Warzone system. It adds a sense of emergency and speedrunning to the gameplay. I can easily ignore online presence no matter what they shout in a game chat though.

CP2077 and Phantom Liberty are two of the best games of all time. The expansion is one of only two games that made me cry (the other being the intro to Mass Effect 3 Battle for Earth section). I have played games for 45 years religiously. So I'm not saying this without experience. Thank you.

I own The Terminator issue 1 from 1991 (UK release of the Dark Horse comic). It's in perfect condition, kept in my stash since it released. I wanted to save it for decades then sell it. But Ebay and Amazon made them worthless really. Pity.

The exception is rarely ever the rule but you are correct. It doesn't have to be that way. I'd love to see Ubisoft come back with a quality production on The Division 3. Something for the ages like the first game, which is everything RDR2 was but for another IP.

I always get sad when a game is leaving #XboxGamePass. Especially one I haven't played for 2 years but was always ready to come back to. Now I have 2 days to complete my run, of which I am approximately 50% through. I wish they never left, especially as I feel I paid for it through the pass.

A truly special game in many ways. It's a game that from it's first moments drew me in, only to twist and shift my perception of what the game was at every step of the way. It is a true work of game art in every respect.
