the tender thief of my sighs
the quiet place of your gaze

what confessions poets murmur
in the deep of night
we awake when all others sleep
watching and witnessing
a thrum of dark noises
whispered chants dancing
tango oaths seeping into sheets
lined scrappy verses naked

of a brave beautiful beginning

the eastern silence of capella kept listening to western skating ambience

to rouse a redolent relevance from the spiral of old

with open arms waiting for those pyros of ages

Winter's second wind swirls over legs, drags deep, wool sopped soul, gasping for the kindness of crocus skin. A robin sung through the night: watchman suspicious of an elapsed sun, sings still in the afternoon - can a bird suffer insomnia? I crave the energy to sing and sing and sing
