Being a writer also means unable to think of any plot events for weeks or months to come, yet also to just wake up someday and frantically write up several new chapters of your lore.

I wonder! If there is any kind of religious tradition that justifies someone’s deeds through exploration of the surrounding and events that caused them to do commit this act! Would be interesting to see how it works!

So far what I’ve drawn from my learning and exploring different religious traditions is that it seems that most religion put an onus on a human for his actions, which, i. e., could be expressed in this maxim (?): “even if the conditions are «bad», why should you be the «bad»” (or continue be «bad»)

Quite interesting! A lot of religions and philosophical views tend to debate on whether evil is inherent in the world, whether it can be eradicated, when and by whom (if applicable), what can one be! It’s a tapestry of human’s experience with other humans and the nature!

In Zoroastrianism, evil deeds are said to originate from infiltration of “evil forces” that counter Ahura Mazda (the creator), and in some other religious practices.

Seems, while, in Taoism, both forces are recognized as part of the physical realm, originating from the Tao itself, in Korean mythology, the wickedness stems rather either from the chaotic and disorderly conduct of the creation of the world or due to a rule of a god who stole the world.

As one is free to define their “good” and “evil”, a lot of people draw their inspiration from the religion and common folk beliefs (or practices) and, hence, tend to subject themselves to a specific worldview. This is the result of the “original sin” in Christianity, but not so in other religions

It appears that religious beliefs aren’t inherently “evil” as some would claim, but rather their “standardisation” or “institutionalisation” makes them prone to be used as justification for any violence to assert power and privilege (listened to docu-docu about Zoroastrianism during Achemid Empire)

Caring for the eldest, nurturing the kids, providing for the sick and unfortunate are the staples of any proper society. Human’s worth isn’t measured in money or any sort of lack of deficiency, but rather is an absolute quality inherent in all humans upon their birth.

I didn’t know I’d meet people like that but I happened to meet an age peer who was against human rights and said discrimination “is not real”. When refuted with facts, he said it does not conform with his “reality” or that those discriminated just “agreed to it”

One takeaway from this story is that in love there is nothing bad about being a complete fool and that all feelings are natural when you date and like someone. I’d also agree sometimes that in love you just have to show, demonstrate and do — rather than just talk (my mistake)

Erich Remarque’s Drei Kameraden reinvigorated some feelings I had for a friend of mine… those Robbi’s worries that he wasn’t on par to Patricia, feelings cloaked in little misunderstandings and expressed through the places they visited, love’s ability to make you alert and blind at the same time..

I think for some it’s difficult to concentrate in the absence of visible triggers (especially for those who haven’t cultivated a habit or taste for reading yet)

I believe that the right course of action for the political turmoil to resolve would be to learn from it and reform the political system of Korea to ensure a stable democratic and competent governance in Korea

Gotta say that this announcement of martial law first caught me off guard but as I checked other sources it rather made me extremely enraged because even through I have never lived in a military dictatorship before I still recall my time living in an incompetent dictatorship in Uzbekistan.
